Here at Opposable Thumbs, we're just two men. One of the biggest challenges of this job is trying to decide what to cover, where to go, what to play. One of the questions we've asked ourselves this year was whether or not it would be worth it to cover PAX. Sure, we'd have a good time there no matter what, but would there be enough content to make it worth going to cover? Would there in fact be news? A new release gives us the answer, a resounding OMG YES. HangZhou Night Net

"We thought that by tripling the available exhibitor space, we'd have enough room for everybody. I guess we were wrong." said Penny Arcade's director of sales, Mike Fehlauer. "We do our best to throw a kickass party for the gamer community, and so we're grateful—and relieved—that the response has been so positive. Exhibitors and attendees alike have decided that PAX is the show to attend; it's the only place where you'll find tabletop, console, and PC gamers and exhibitors—plus concerts, tournaments, panels, and freeplay—under the same roof, with no BS." Who will be exhibiting this year? Here is the very long, complete list.

I think that's amazing, and it's open to everyone. PAX might have turned into the one event that no one can afford to miss this year; that list is a frickin' phone book of big developers and publishers. This just jumped from something we'll look into, to something it would be silly to miss.

I'm very impressed with the exhibitor list, and now I'm counting down the days until August 24. Keep in mind that Wil Wheaton, geek extraordinaire, will be providing the keynote, and this year's Omegathon winner will be heading to the Tokyo Game Show on Penny Arcade's dime.

Will we see you there?
